This wallet tracker card is lightweight and only slightly thicker than a credit card. It can easily fit in the slots in wallets, belt bags, and wristlets, or slide into a backpack, briefcase, camera bag, or your luggage. Plus, it comes with an optional strap if you would like to tie it to your item.
This tracker card uses Apple’s ‘Find My’ network to locate your devices by pinging off other Apple devices in the area. You can also have it play a sound when your item is lost inside your house (like in the couch cushions!), and get an alert on your phone if you leave your item behind. I ordered this card-style tracker to keep in my wallet, but also use for travel to put in my luggage. The experience of using this with the Find My app is really nice and feels similar to the experience I would expect with an Air Tag. It does feel a tad thicker than a typical credit card, but it’s not overly bulky. Looking forward to finding many other temporary uses for this tracker!
Popped it out of the box and paired it with my iPhone 13 Pro instantly, it’s stayed in my wallet since then. It’s done the job, haven’t had any issues with the location being incorrect or anything like that. For $25, it’s reasonably cheaper than an actual AirTag or any of the big brand tracker alternatives.
I’m forever leaving my wallet lying around or in my jacket pocket. This has simplified “the hunt” that we usually do in trying to figure out where I last had my wallet. I simply slipped it into my wallet and clicked on the “Find My” section on my iPhone and viola- there it was. No more wasting time hunting for my wallet anymore.
