We have tried different mulch over the years. Scott’s is reasonably priced for a decent dependable product. We add a little more every year to touch up the color because anything that sits out in the sun will fade. If you put it in a shaded area, it doesn’t need as much.

After having to redo our garden, we used the Nature Scapes mulch and we were very satisfied. We chose this because of the Scotts name and they did not disappoint. The pieces were a nice size and it really helped bring our garden to life. The colors from the plants in the garden really “popped” against the black mulch. The best part was, they really did hold their color. In the past, we used mulch where the dye would run and make a mess. The Colorguard Scotts uses really makes a difference as the color doesn’t fade and it doesn’t bleed off onto everything else. Definitely worth paying a little more for the better quality.

This holds up well and does not dissolve like some of the cheaper mulches. It holds its color as well. We replace about every 2-3 years. Whereas some must be replaced annually.

Bring a little green indoors with these faux houseplants!
