Man, 28, shot dead outside Staten Island NYCHA complex where he lived

Two men were shot, one fatally, early Wednesday outside a Staten Island NYCHA complex where the mortally wounded victim lived, cops said.

Shamel Massie, 28, was shot in the head and both arms outside a Mariners Harbor Houses apartment building on Roxbury St. near Grandview Ave. about 5:10 a.m., cops said.

Massie died at the scene. He lived in a building on the other side of the complex.

The second victim, also 28, was blasted in the left arm. He was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

No arrests have been made.

Massie’s body remained under a white sheet as cops investigated the killing. Several heartbroken friends and relatives consoled each other at the scene.

“My precious!” one woman screamed as she broke down in tears and another family member tried to hug her.

Massie was arrested for a stabbing in Mariners Harbor a decade ago. He was also arrested for participating in a home invasion in Staten Island in 2017, records show.
