This lightweight jacket is the perfect choice for spring! It has a waterproof nylon fabric so that rain slips right off you plus an adjustable drawcord hem to help keep warm in and cold air out. And it easily packs down into its own chest pocket for when the rainy weather subsides.

We wore these coats over our parkas in Iceland. They kept us warm and dry in the driving wind and snow. We wore Columbia rain pants also and they were excellent. On another day we had a lot of water from being close to waterfalls. Still, we were warm and dry. These coats kept us dry and added another layer of protection even though our parkas were waterproof.

I did test both the coats and pants on a 4-mile walk in a complete driving rain before we left. Didn’t want to be caught unprepared. They performed flawlessly!

I love this jacket. I couldn’t find a women’s jacket that was at this price point with all the same features, so I bought a men’s. The hood stows away in its own little velcro pouch, the sleeves can be closed around your wrist, and the waist also cinches in for added protection. The best of all is that is has an attached stuff sack for when it is dry, making it super convenient to throw in a backpack, diaper bag, or purse.

It has a little extra room (I ordered a men’s XL) and there is plenty of room for layers underneath for colder weather. I would absolutely recommend this jacket to anyone!
