Wynn Nightlife didn’t just drop a residency announcement. They made a film.

Six months ago, the creative team at Wynn Nightlife sat down with a brief. The ask: announce the 2026 residency season. What they handed back was something else entirely.

Enter “The Year of Excess.” A 90-second cinematic short narrated by Rob Riggle, shot across Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, built around 14 of the most in-demand names in dance music. Calvin Harris. The Chainsmokers. Marshmello. Diplo. Kaskade. ODESZA. SOFI TUKKER. Mau P. Hugel and more. Each artist inhabiting a version of Las Vegas that feels like a fever dream: alpacas on the golf course, champagne-painted graffiti courtesy of an acclaimed artist, caviar at the bath, workouts scaling the Wynn rooftop at some ungodly hour. The whole thing closing on a line “Now go and be FABULOUS” — a nod to the city’s official tagline and a quiet tribute to XS Nightclub as it steps into its next chapter.

“Wynn Nightlife has always believed that great entertainment speaks for itself,” said Ryan Jones, SVP of Wynn Nightlife. “Whether it brings people through our doors or simply reminds them why Las Vegas is unlike anywhere else in the world, that’s a win for all of us.”

That framing matters. This isn’t a content play dressed up as art. It’s a genuine creative bet. That asks the question things away from asking “who’s playing?” to “Did you forget what Las Vegas was built for?”

The city answered.
