A teenage boy was fatally shot inside his Queens apartment Wednesday afternoon, police sources told the Daily News.
The 14-year-old and possibly someone else was playing around with a gun in his apartment around 5:02 p.m. near 90th Ave. and 161st St. in Jamaica when shots rang out and the boy was struck in the head, according to the sources.
The child died at the scene.
Cops recovered the firearm and are still investigating the scene. There are currently no arrests.
